As the disaster response and relief arm of A Hero's Promise, LDRS (Leaders) has a singular focus on providing training and disaster relief assistance to those in need. We offer mobile courses that provide participants with hands-on experience in Incident Command System (ICS), Communications, and Medical, to better prepare first responders for potential disasters. Our commitment to disaster relief has allowed us to play an active role in assisting communities across Washington State in their time of need.
Courses
Incident Command System (ICS): Emergency responders use ICS for management of all incidents and events. LDRS trains our volunteer teams and the public in ICS to ensure they understand how to work with response teams. In the field LDRS applies ICS to all activities to effectively integrate with response teams.

Communications: Our Communications Director is a HAM extra who was responsible for keeping the second largest TV station on air during his career at KTLA in California. He holds the highest rating in the HAM radio system, HAM extra. During emergency relief efforts, our communications team can rapidly install a communications network for our response teams, and long-haul communications for out of area connectivity.
